SUNDAY MORNING'S BRUNCH. Two days ago my mum had planned for the family to go to the Red Star Restaurant at Chinatown for a dim-sum brunch with my grandmother. It was sort of a celebration for her, my brother, and my sister-in-law's birthday all in one since their birthdays are almost back to back in the month of December. It was also good to see my grandmother after so long, and my granny looks so cute whilst trying to figure out how to use my brother's Samsung Galaxy Note 2 to view their ROM pictures hahaha.
For that morning I wore a pastel yellow dress with a drawstring detail that I hesitated quite a while before buying back then. I love having the color yellow in my wardrobe because it just seem to lift moods instantaneously, don't you think so? I like such simple dresses because it suited my kind of lifestyle lately. Not much shopping in town or fancy celebrations, just chilling around or sitting around wtf. Definitely looking forward to the family's christmas celebrations!
Took the chance to bring my white woven handbag out. It is actually a bag that I share with my mother because we bought it together (but she's the one who paid for it) haha. As much as I like it, I tend to go for my shoulder tote on most days because somehow or rather I'll have a ton of things in my bag and a tote bag definitely has more room for all my things. This this bag only sees the light on days when I go on a picnic, because it looks so much like a mini picnic case.
Other than the bag, the heels in the pictures are actually my newly arrived pair of shoes through the mail! They are so much higher than they looked in the pictures when I ordered them, and I'm still having some sort of difficulty trying to walk on such high platforms. I'm literary reaching new heights.
