PEOPLE WHO INSPIRE. Hello everyone! I sort of went missing in action over the last couple of days, it's because I have been doing a couple of updates on my guest blog at MyFatPocket. It's a second blog of mine, where I do more of other entries like beauty reviews or just random articles. So if you do not see any new entries here you can always drop by to check out my MFP blog too!
Apart from that, I have also took the time to change the design for both of my blogs. Lately I have been more into monochrome colors - so it's all reflected as above hahaha. But on my MFP blog it's more of a girly theme with floral patterns and pastel colors. Fresh start for a fresh new year, although I do know January is almost coming to an end haha.
This post today is a little special to me, because it's something that I had wanted to write for a couple of months now. Were there any friends or people in your life that have inspired you a lot? Because I did and I have such a huge bag of thoughts that I wanted to share. Although there have been many other people who inspires me, here are 3 bloggers who have inspired me so much that I decided to go into fashion blogging - something which I have unexpectedly developed a huge passion in.
It's just like having a lover, love at first sight, then comes the part of falling in love, and now a part of your life. T_T

So, meet Desiree. She's actually a friend of mine whom I got to know when I attended F3 Singapore as one of their roadshow models during an event, and someone who encouraged me to start fashion blogging. Prior to that, I had no idea people wrote entries specifically about their daily outfits. Until all of us exchanged contacts during the event and caught up with each other after that.
First impression was that she's such a sweet looking girl, and when I read her blog it was like woah she has such a huge personality. Not to mention a refreshing sense of style. She's not the average blogger who puts on heavy eye make up, contacts (I think) or even faux eyelashes!
I remember telling her that her blog inspires me a lot to start my own one too, where she had been the first who encouraged me to do so.
And by the way, she has also just launched a blogshop named MadeUpApparels. It has a lot of distinct and unique pieces of apparels so if you are still looking for clothes for the upcoming Chinese New Year, you could take a look! The following 2 pictures are my favourite looks from her online boutique.

And the next is Tifanny. I chanced upon her blog while I was browsing my friends' tumblr page - there was a picture where a girl was wearing such a gorgeous shade of shorts in purple that I clicked on it's source hahaha. And that's when I realised that there are quite a bit of other fashion blogs out there and started to read more of them. She has the most gorgeous blonde hair I've ever seen and I like her minimalist style in choice of clothes.
That's when I showed boyfriend and said "waahh they look so pretty how did they do it?? I also want to write about stuffs like that! Let's go and try someday" althought I knew I was lying half heartedly because I didn't really thought I could do it hahaha.

And then, I chanced upon Kayture - a blog written by Kristina Bazaan. I came across her profile on ultrabloggers.jp, and out of curiosity I clicked on it and it was literary a life changing click wtf.
I was enthralled by all the precise and magazine-quality photos on her blog that I find myself clicking pages after pages. She has such an immaculate style that I can't help but marvel at each entry because she looks stunningly beautiful.
You know there's this saying that goes "与其追求名牌，不如把自己变成名牌" (It means: instead of going after brands to identify yourself, why not make a brand out of your identity)
She the example for the saying because she has also managed to turn her blog Kayture into a brand, working on projects alongside with brands like Louis Vuitton and Hugo Boss, just to name a few. That's something that I aspire. And guess what, she's only 20 this year!!
That's when I slapped my hands on the table and exclaimed in determination to my boyfriend "Let's try it!!" And I haven't looked back ever since. I feel so much joy just sharing the photos that we took and writing about them.
These are the ladies that have given me so much inspiration to really step out of my comfort zone and try out something that was entirely new to me. I hope that you girls / guys would also have the blessing like I had to chance upon such people in your life who inspired you so much that made a difference. And if you do, do share them with me! This has been a lengthy post and I hope you enjoyed reading and some of the pictures which I've picked.
