One thing that I got caught up with lately (other than Candycrush) was America's Next Top Model series. I never really watched all these shows in the past, until I watched Asia's Next Top Model and got hooked. Then I started searching for ANTM past series and watching from cycle to cycle.. @_@ It's very inspiring to watch how the models modeled for the camera, bearing in mind a client's brief coupling with the models' distinct character to model the clothes and come together to create a piece of art. Gosh I could go on watching forever.
So there was this episode from ANTM that featured the photographer - Patrick Demarchelier taking fashion street shots. It has motion incorporated into pictures and they turned out so pretty! So boyfriend and I had a lot of fun giving it a try and we managed to capture some pictures that didn't involved me looking too awkward hahaha.
We went to Woodlands Waterfront for a casual walk and I wore this roses cropped top that boyfriend got for me while he was in Bangkok. The top actually came with a bigger crochet overlay, and my mum skillfully re-designed the overlay into a better fitting one. I think it's very sweet to have a guy shopping for you and it's even better when he knows exactly what you like and dislike!
I paired the top with a black swing skirt and pink wedges. Since there's a lot of details going on for the top, I wanted to keep the accessories minimal and had my ring turned into a necklace. For that bag of mine.. it is one of my favourite bags and the oldest one in the cabinet. It has been with me since I was a kid and so that makes it more than a decade old. On top of that it's still looking very new! I think it's not even possible to find a bag of such quality anymore.
Guess I could pass it on to my daughter next time *shrugs*
