BRIGHT AND LIGHT Ahhh the weather can just get so hot in Singapore. It's literary summer all year around and I'm so tempted to dress myself in sleeveless tops and shorts everyday. But then again I try to tell myself it's not an excuse to dress lazy. Actually there's a myriad of clothing that you can wear so long as you pick cleverly with the materials, such as a polyester dress.
For the dress which I'm wearing, this was the other item that was kindly sent over by Dorothy Perkins which I picked from their online store. In my collaboration with them they had also sponsored me a textured snake skin shoulder bag which you saw in my previous post here. I think I ought to mention their Petite range on their online store because the section is entirely dedicated to ladies under 5'3! I don't really have to worry about sending my apparels for additional tailoring because sizes in this range are proportionally shorter as compared to their standard size. This in my opinion, sounds and works perfect for me hahaha.
I fell in love with the cutting and tribal prints on this full length dress, especially the flattering tie details around the waist and the split at the bottom hemlines. I wanted to go for a more elegant look and therefore I only went with silver rings (they have cute little diamante details) and left my wrists bare. I also pulled out the red elements of the tribal design by matching a red necklace to go with it. Let me know what are your thoughts!
