This pair of jeans that I'm wearing is actually my very first pair of Levi's jeans! It was a hands-me-down from my boyfriend's sister in law, which made it meant even more to me. I grown up wearing lots of hands me down clothes from my elder brother or cousins (which meant no pretty dresses or girly clothes), so most of them are just home clothes. Then as my other younger cousins grew up we started sharing and passing clothes around that we no longer want. Which is kind of fun because we get new wardrobe selections, and it makes the clothes you wear more endearing. Just like how I'll think of my younger cousin whenever I put on that particular sweater. There's something bonding and nostalgic about it.
What I think about Levi's is that it is a brand of individuality, an icon of self-expression. Just like how everyone choose to illustrate on a sheet of drawing paper. The pair of Levi's 501 which I'm wearing has a straight cutting, and to wear it more feminine I wanted to play with textiles. I paired it with a light chiffon top and had the ends of the jeans tucked into my boots to highlight its suede and leather details. Having so many different textiles on the outfit I'll prefer to keep accessories to a minimal. Hope you'll like this look and enjoy the pictures!
