Eclecticism X MBLJ

MADE BY LAUREN JASMINE  As you guys know, KJ and I were along Amoy Street last week where we actually went to this event called Eclecticism X MBLJ! It was held at this concept store called Lauren Jasmine and I think their concept for a boutique cafe is super cool. First there's this cafe counter right at the front, followed by aisles of clothes and accessories towards the back.. AND then it leads to its second AND the third story (all full of clothes and also tables set up for coffee) where they even have a corner with lightings set up for pictures taking!

Basically that means the guys can also sit in and enjoy some coffee in the meantime while we get down to some serious shopping yayy. I mean, you girls already know how long it could possibly take if we factor in the time needed for us to try on the clothes.. I was trying on a gazillion amount of clothes that I can't decide upon in the fitting room (don't know which to pick.. this looks nice, that looks pretty too..) and yep by the time we left it was about 2 hours later!

For this event held by Eclecticism and Lauren Jasmine, it was all about discovering some really amazing labels from Australia that they are going to launch at their new boutique in Wheelock Place this month. There's Mink Pink, Stylestalker, Keepsake, Finders Keepers and Cameo that all have a distinct flair and style of their own. Seriously, all their quality is beyond amazing and you have to trust me on that because although it may sound exaggerating, it is not the least bit! The fabric, touch and cutting are so unique and it's no less the best that I've ever came across. It totally feels like I'm shopping limited edition (there's only one piece per size) not to mention that most of the other international labels are also exclusive to Eclecticism in Singapore.

The lovely team from Eclecticism had also let me picked up a couple of apparels of my choice, can you guess which is it?? I spent almost the entire afternoon just going back and forth Mink Pink's line (a little bit too spoilt for choice huhu). I mean, the apparels from Mink Pink is totally crazy and I want to share them with you because these are entirely wearable fun and inexpensive (from $29). They have the most playful colors from prints to sequins.. lace to leather fabric.. and then there's also cutout details and even bikinis!

Other Australian labels that Eclectism brought in includes Keepsake that features dresses which are couture inspired with feminine silhouettes, where Cameo is all about contemporary wear, Stylestalker's line features lots of lace, mesh and peek a boo details where Finders Keepers is about fun edgy party dresses. Including Mink Pink, you can find these five labels in Eclecticism + Lauren Jasmine's new boutique at Wheelock Place!
