So after a plane flight, a 2 hours land transfer, a boat transfer and yet another land transfer.. we finally got to the beach front of beautiful Boracay. Honestly it was so much better than I expected! Boracay is just huge and what surprised me was that almost everyone there spoke fluent English - no language barrier, yay! The folks we met are all very nice.. the food was good and the water activities were even more exhilarating. The most memorable activity had to be parasailing.. AND the cheeky guide had to make me land in water right in the middle of the pacific ocean!!
We were there for about 6 days, which is perfect! Not too short and there was just ample time for everything. We had more time to slowly explore the beaches towards the last few days and one thing that I have to really say is - the sun rise and sunset time is super early in Boracay! (Not even at 5.30am when we tried to catch the sunrise..) Still, nothing beats having a good breakfast by the beach with the morning breeze. It was just pure bliss.
We also had these pictures taken that morning and we hope you like them! It's more editorial.. which I really, really love. What made it even more perfect was this little boat that's ashore that morning - a boat that represented the transport and heart of Boracay.
